The retro sport of synchronized swimming has been making a splash on the local party circuit as of late, including at one of the city’s most luxurious landmarks. At a vintage style affair during the weekend long 100th anniversary celebration of the Pink Palace, the Aqualillies performed an elegant water ballet while guests tucked into poolside barbeque and enjoyed Essie manis and pedis in cabanas.

“I’ve never shot synchronized swimmers” says Getty Images shutterfly Michael Beckner “so when the Aqualillies dove in I quickly tried to find an angle I could capture the classic iconic style of the hotel as well as the fun of the performance.”
